Every scarf begins with Ashley’s original artwork. In this case, the paintings are of flora and fauna painted on location at three Pittsburgh museums – the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, the National Aviary and Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. The pattern is digitally printed on fabric and sewn in Pittsburgh with love. The roughly 72″ scarf wraps nicely twice for a loose fit (as shown) and three times for cozy fit on cold winter days. The fabric is Silky Faille (100% polyester), which is machine washable. Wash separately in cool or warm water using a gentle machine cycle. Machine dry using a low temperature setting. If required, use an iron with a light touch on a synthetic setting only. Higher iron temperatures may result in color transfer and melting of fabric.
