Every kimono begins with Ashley’s original artwork. In this case, the paintings are of flora and fauna painted on location at three Pittsburgh museums – the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, the National Aviary and Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. The artist translated the paintings into this pattern, which is digitally printed on fabric and sewn in Pittsburgh with love.
This sheer chiffon fabric is 100% polyester, the neckline and opening of the kimono are traced a velvet trim, and the sleeves are closed with delicate ties. One size fits all.
Machine wash warm or cool on a gentle/delicate setting, using phosphate-free detergent. Machine dry on a low temperature setting. Iron on the reverse side of the fabric.
