Artwork for this infinity scarf was one of the many outcomes of Ashley’s 2018 artist residency at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. It features collard greens, a garden vegetable that, like many foods, are imbued with deep meaning and cultural ties that can nourish both our bodies and spirits; and sweet alyssum, an excellent companion plant in vegetable gardens because it attracts beneficial insects such as pollinators..
These scarves are sewn in Pittsburgh with love. The fabric is Silky Faille (100% polyester), which is machine washable. Wash separately in cool or warm water using a gentle machine cycle. Machine dry using a low temperature setting. If required, use an iron with a light touch on a synthetic setting only. Higher iron temperatures may result in color transfer and melting of fabric.
