As this painting was created and sold last month, it was the final piece contributing to the $50 donation made to CASA. I’ll soon be announcing the next charity, likely to focus on relief efforts in Haiti or the oil leak in the Gulf Coast. Suggestions kindly welcomed in the comment section of this post. Thanks!

My suggestion for an organization which would benefit from any help you could give is The Turtle Hospital, http://www.turtlehospital.org/. They are located in the Florida Keys and are preparing for an onslaught of sea turtles affected by the spill. I have visited them twice, and am amazed at the work they do on a minimal budget. The unseasonable cold winter led to them taking in a record number of turtles for rehabilitation. Their funds are rapidly depleted in those circumstances. They are now stockpiling materials to clean the turtles, and even a small donation will help to provide these
