Miller-Maze in the race for Kentucky Governor and Lt Governor

Just weeks ago Ky State Treasure, Jonathan Miller, announced that he would be running for Governor of Kentucky. Quickly following the announcement he and his running-mate, Jefferson County Attorney, Irv Maze, began their campaign efforts. Last night I attended a “Miller-Maze meet up” at a Louisville ale house where the two gentlemen address an audience eager to hear their promises of fresh leadership for the bluegrass state.

One of my fellow bloggers, Jim Pence of the HillBillyreport.com, was there doing his YouTube thing. So, instead of re-creating the highlights of the evening with text, I’ll direct you to Jim’s blog where you can watch interviews with both Jonathan Miller and Irv Maze (left and right above respectively). Thanks Jim!

  • have a happy new year Ashley…
    p.s: your site rocks:)

  • I can’t believe someone, anyone is calling Miller-Maze, fresh leadership. These guys have been working politics since before entering the political ring. They are insiders and I assure you if they are elected you will see more years of the same stuff. It makes my heart hurt to know people are so blind to politics to think Johnathan Miller, is a fresh anything. He is from the same school of thought that has cost Kentucky, years in the education fields and billions in over spending. How could anyone want to elect someone who has been a elected official yet never made a sound choice on his own, ever. I don’t like Gatewood Galbraith, very much he doesn’t meet my ideals on what a perfect person is but he is honest and outgoing and has never taken a single special interest dollar. He has never not followed through with a promise and he is a Kentuckian. Gatewood, should be the next governor of Kentucky. He is devoted to the people of the state, endorsed by just about every local official in small town Kentucky, he is endorsed by former governor Jones. Governor Jones, was a great governor a man of the people and to have him say the things he says about Gatewood, tells me in plain english Gatewood, should be the next governor of our great state.
